Everybody Needs a Break – Time to Contemplate

August 16, 2024

This July, Mark and I spent a week at Mt. Laguna to breathe the mountain air, and watch the clouds go by. Because of those beautiful clouds, we didn’t get to see many stars. That just means we will have to come back soon. Can you imagine the peace of not hearing traffic and sirens and noisy neighbors for a whole week? If that is a new concept for you, I hope you will consider it.

Speaking of considering, why not consider Psalm 8? Here are two verses: 3. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and stars, which you have set in place, ….9. O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Taking a Break

I’m shifting my blogging schedule a bit and taking a break this month. August is the month of my birthday (74) and our anniversary (53). I got married 3 days after my 21st birthday, so forever we have 2 celebrations back-to-back.

So, you can expect my next blog post will be more developed. Meanwhile, I hope YOU are able to get out into nature somehow, and stay long enough to watch clouds sail by, however slowly. Peace to you.
